Pam Williams

PAM WILLIAMS has lived in Texas all her life, and now lives in Wimberley TX.
Pam has always been artistic. Initially, she expressed herself in designing homes and living spaces for herself and friends. She has always worked in three-dimensional art. In the past decade, she has focused on creating figurative clay sculptures. Her passion for this art form is apparent: “I lose myself in the beauty and uniqueness of the model who is posing; I am continually in awe at the creature that emerges from the material.” Her work has been recognized by the International Thomas Merton Society. It has also appeared on the cover of a publication in honor of the late Archbishop Desmond Tutu, presented to him on his 90th birthday.
Pam has sold her work from coast to coast. Her work has been collected and is now displayed in homes from California to Santa Fe to Colorado to Florida. She has been commissioned to create representations of patrons’ family members as far away as Kenya. In addition to works of clay, Pam has had numerous pieces cast in bronze.
Pam has worked closely with nationally known sculptor Glo Coalson and continues to see her as her mentor.
